Program description
Study Desk Educational Reminders provide user-requested alerts about upcoming classes, Zoom meetings, assignments, due dates, and related study schedules. Messages are informational and are based on the reminder categories and timing selected by the user.
Consent
Users enroll by entering their mobile number in Study Desk, selecting an unchecked consent box, and choosing Enable SMS reminders. Consent is optional and is not a condition of using Study Desk. Enabling SMS authorizes recurring automated educational messages at the number provided.
Frequency and charges
Message frequency varies according to the user’s course schedule, upcoming deadlines, and notification preferences. Message and data rates may apply. The user’s mobile carrier is responsible for any applicable charges.
Opting out
Reply STOP at any time to unsubscribe. Users may also disable SMS delivery from Study Desk settings. After opting out, no further recurring Study Desk reminders will be sent unless the user completes the opt-in process again.
Getting help
Reply HELP for help with the messaging program. Additional controls and program information are available in Study Desk settings.
Delivery
Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery may be affected by carrier availability, network conditions, device settings, and the accuracy of schedule information supplied to Study Desk.
Privacy
Mobile information and opt-in consent are not sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. See the full Study Desk Privacy Policy.
Changes or termination
Study Desk may update or discontinue the reminder program. Material changes to consent terms will require a new affirmative opt-in before recurring messages resume.
